Team Leadership
Patreon is a media and community platform where over 300,000 creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. We offer creators a variety of ways to engage with their fans and build a lasting business including: paid memberships, free memberships, community chats, live video, and selling to fans directly with one-time purchases.
Ultimately our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we're leaders in that space, with:
-
$10 billion+ generated by creators since Patreon's inception
-
100 million+ free memberships for fans who may not be ready to pay just yet, and
-
25 million+ paid memberships on Patreon today.
We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Senior Manager, GTM Operations to support our mission.
This role is based in New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.
About the Team:
The Creator Success team is responsible for managing all of our Creators after they launch on Patreon. We work with Creators to help them grow their accounts, adopt new products and keep them excited and loyal platform users. We have a team focused on growing our Top Creators, a team focused on growing our Scaled Creators and a Community team that motivates and inspires creators via online community spaces and educational resources.
The Operations team within Creator Success will be a brand new team and sub function. The person in this role, with support from the VP of Creator Success, will be the primary driver behind this emerging team’s strategy, goals and scope. The Ops team will be responsible for GTM tooling and software strategy in addition to leading critical cross-functional programs that impact creator facing teams as well as other operating workstreams as needs emerge. It is important to note that this team will operationally support Sales as well as Creator Success, in particular with regard to GTM tooling strategy.
About the Role:
The Senior Manager, GTM Operations will lead a small, high-impact Ops team (3–4 people) supporting Creator Success while also owning tooling and operational strategy that serves both Creator Success and Sales.
This is a strategic leadership role with real ownership. You will set tooling direction (e.g., Salesforce and adjacent tools), design prioritization and intake frameworks, and build scalable systems to support creator-facing programs, cross-functional initiatives, and operational execution. You will regularly balance competing needs across teams and be trusted to make thoughtful, framework-driven recommendations.
In this role, you will:
-
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Ops professionals, increasing their autonomy and strategic impact
-
Own tooling strategy and administration, including prioritization, consolidation, integrations, and enablement
-
Build and maintain systems for intake, prioritization, and project management across many workstreams
-
Partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and PMM to support creator engagement, feedback loops, major company strategic initiatives and enablement efforts
-
Clearly articulate tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to leadership and manage up with confidence
Success in this role looks like fewer ad-hoc requests, clearer decision-making, strong cross-functional trust, and an Ops team that operates proactively and independently.
About You
You are a strategic, people-centered operations leader who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity and scaling impact through systems and teams.
You likely bring:
-
7–10+ years of experience in Operations, Revenue Ops, Business Ops, or a related field, with people management experience
-
A track record of owning tooling ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce and related tools) and making smart build/buy/consolidate decisions
-
Strong program and project management skills across ambiguous, cross-functional work
-
Experience balancing the needs of sales and post-sales teams with sound judgment and clear prioritization
-
A framework-driven approach to decision-making and the ability to clearly communicate tradeoffs
-
Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional partners through clear problem solving & structured communication
-
A coaching mindset and experience developing high-performing Ops teams
You are comfortable with ambiguity, motivated by impact over optics, and energized by roles where the definition evolves over time.
