We are now looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Fixed Assets and Leases to join our growing RTR organization in Budapest.
About the Role
As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of fixed assets and lease transactions. You will partner closely with business stakeholders including Core Services, IT, and FP&A teams –both locally and internationally – to support high-quality financial reporting.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys complex accounting tasks, takes ownership of their work, and communicates confidently across functions.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and ensure accurate processing of Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) in SAP
- Book and review depreciation and amortization for Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE)
- Maintain monthly reviews of Asset Under Construction (AUC) balances with business partners
- Prepare and post journal entries for period-end adjustments
- Execute asset subledger transactions (impairments, write-offs, retirements, etc.)
- Prepare detailed reports and analyses for senior stakeholders and NY Segment Reporting
- Manage lease accounting activities and maintain accurate data in Lease Accelerator
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for PPE and lease-related GL accounts
- Support proper accounting for SaaS and software assets
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency projects
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and SOX requirements
What We’re Looking For
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a shared services environment
Additional Skills & Experience
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ownership of deliverables
- Experience with SAP ERP is a strong advantage
