THE ROLE:

Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote, and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within +4 / -4 UTC.

As a Lead Product Operations Manager at Oyster, you will be the primary architect of scale for a global platform that is redefining the future of work. This is a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity to step into a "force multiplier" role where you’ll build the intelligent infrastructure that empowers Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to ship world-class software. By weaving together AI-driven automation, rigorous data storytelling, and expert stakeholder mediation, you will eliminate the friction of hyper-growth, transforming complex global challenges into streamlined product triumphs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process optimization: Design and scale the "operating system" for the product org, ensuring seamless and efficient workflows from discovery to delivery.

  • AI-Driven Automation: Identify and implement agents to automate high-volume manual tasks, such as summarizing team progress or tagging cross-platform feedback.

  • Strategic Alignment: Facilitate Product strategy and planning cycles, ensuring product roadmaps align with company-wide OKRs and goals.

  • Feedback Loops: Establish structured channels between Product and our customers, both externally and internally (e.g. Go-To-Market, Operations, Finance, Legal etc.) to ensure the "Voice of the Customer" drives feature prioritization.

  • Documentation: Ensuring internal teams are trained and documentation is updated and ready to be consumed internally and externally for product releases

  • Tooling & Infrastructure: Manage the product tech stack (e.g., Linear, Pendo), optimizing these tools for better collaboration and reporting.

  • Change Management: Act as a central hub for organizational changes, ensuring remote-first teams remain aligned on new methodologies or strategic pivots.

Core Requirements:

  • SaaS Experience: 7+ years in Product Ops or Product Management within high-growth B2B environments (Fintech, HR-tech, or Legal-tech preferred).

  • AI Literacy: Conversant with LLMs and Generative AI, with a proven ability to integrate these technologies into operational workflows to increase team velocity.

  • Conflict Resolution: Exceptional communication and mediation skills, with a proven ability to find "win-win" solutions in high-stakes, cross-functional disagreements.

  • Systems Thinking: Demonstrated skill in building scalable processes across multi-region stakeholders in complex, regulated industries.

  • Agile Expertise: Experience working in fast-moving, distributed teams, applying agile principles in a practical manner to drive continuous discovery, iteration, and delivery.

  • Operational Empathy: Proactively identifying workflow friction and improving it through better processes and tooling.

  • Quantitative Mastery: Deeply data-driven with a track record of using complex datasets to influence executive-level strategic decisions.

YOU'LL ALSO NEED:

  • A reliable home internet connection (or be able to get one)

  • Fluent English language skills
