You will report into the Senior Director, Business Communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive market-level strategies that align to Oscar's strategic growth plan and the Market Leaders growth priorities.

  • Assist with the development of executive thought leadership platforms, including presentation, event, networking, written, and social media opportunities, to show the innovative perspectives of our Oscar Insurance and Market Leaders.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key organizations in the market to position Oscar for speaking, sponsorships and other awareness-driving opportunities.

  • Partner with the Oscar media team to develop market-level communications strategies across earned and owned media.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, public relations, investor relations, government affairs, and executive leadership, to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment of market-level communications.

  • Evaluate the efficacy of in-market communications strategies by tracking key engagement metrics and KPIs, in partnership with the Media team.

  • 7+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities.

  • Experience managing multiple, complex projects at once and working in a deadline sensitive environment for executives.

Bonus points:

  • Agency, in-house, healthcare – with an understanding of payor, provider, patient, and B2B services marketplace dynamics (or other regulated industry) – public affairs or state/local policy experience is a plus.

  • Public company experience preferred
