
Principal Cloud Architect – Startups
About the role
What you'll do:
-
Lead cloud-native customer engagements from discovery and architecture through POC and production readiness.

Build trusted advisor relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, Infrastructure Leaders, Cloud Centers of Excellence, and executive stakeholders.

Design and demonstrate modern cloud platforms using Kubernetes, containers, microservices, CI/CD, DevOps automation, infrastructure as code, observability, networking, security, databases, and OCI services.

Build hands-on POCs, demos, workshops, scripts, Terraform modules, deployment templates, and reusable technical accelerators.

Translate customer goals, constraints, and hidden requirements into pragmatic architectures that balance scalability, security, cost, performance, operations, and business outcomes.

Advise customers on application modernization, platform engineering, Git Ops, cloud-native security, and production operations.

Collaborate with Sales , Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Consulting, and Partner organizations to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Provide competitive intelligence, market insights, and customer feedback to influence Oracle's product strategy and go-to-market initiatives.

What you'll bring:
-
6+ years in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, solution engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, microservices, and production-grade cloud-native application patterns.

Practical experience with CI/CD, Git Ops, automated deployments, release automation, infrastructure as code, and operational best practices.

Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or similar tools, plus scripting skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, or similar.

End-to-end systems thinking: ability to reason about complete cloud platforms, dependencies, scalability, operational risks, and maintainability.

Customer discovery and problem-definition skills, including the ability to clarify ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and define the right problem before designing the solution.

Strong architectural judgment across security, scalability, performance, cost, operational complexity, and business value.

Deep knowledge of public cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP, including core services across compute, networking, storage, security, identity, databases, and observability.

Excellent communication skills with technical teams, executives, partners, and customers; fluency in Hebrew and English is required.
Additional Advantage:
Experience with Generative AI, data platforms, open-source ecosystems, VMware, security, storage systems, startups, ISVs, system integrators, or partner-led delivery is an advantage.
