About the Team:

The Foundations TPM team supports our research program to scale learning, with a particular focus on data, frontier models and capabilities. We work closely with both research, engineering and infrastructure teams to turn ambitious ideas into reality.

About the Role:

As a Foundations TPM, you’ll partner with our research teams to advance and scale high-impact research programs. You’ll operate at the intersection of research, infrastructure, and execution.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, can go deep on both research and technical challenges, and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and forward motion to open-ended problems.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with research leads to plan and coordinate projects, aligning the work across multiple stakeholders.

• Drive successful execution by managing timelines, technical dependencies, and scientific risks.

• Provide clear visibility into progress, tradeoffs, and risks for research leadership

• Build processes and systems that increase team velocity and execution quality over time.

You might thrive in this role if you:

• Have experience running complex programs with ambitious goals, multiple stakeholders, and deep technical dependencies.

• Enjoy working in research environments with high levels of ambiguity and consistently find ways to make progress.

• Have experience working with infrastructure for training and serving machine learning models, and are able to engage deeply on technical challenges.
