Your Team

You will join an international, multidisciplinary engineering environment focused on image processing, automation, and cloud‑enabled machine learning. Within the Analytical Engineering domain, teams collaborate across labs and technical groups, creating a fast‑moving atmosphere where ideas quickly evolve into prototypes. You’ll work with global stakeholders and contribute to tooling that supports real‑world diagnostic and analysis workflows. Your Responsibilities

• Design and prototype an image labeling and segmentation workflow using AWS Sage Maker.

• Evaluate and compare deep learning models for image segmentation.

• Develop tooling to improve labeling efficiency and user experience.

• Integrate workflows with AWS storage solutions and automated pipelines.

• Implement dataset quality metrics and evaluation methods.

Your Profile

• Master student in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Basic Python skills and familiarity ML frameworks.

• Interest in cloud technologies and computer vision.

• Experience with image processing or deep learning is a plus.

Duration

This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) with a duration of 6 months or longer. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project. Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
