As Technical IT Program Manager you will lead complex, cross-functional projects within our R&D IT Software Engineering Solutions organization. This role requires a strong technical foundation, excellent program management skills, and the ability to drive alignment across engineering teams and stakeholders.
You will help executing strategic goals of NXP IT by having clear focus on quality, security, schedule, and budget, in general on track towards success of the program.
- Your responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate closely with IT and Software Engineering teams to define program scope, architecture considerations, and integration strategies.
- Engineering Delivery: Ensure technical solutions meet quality, security, and performance standards. Drive adoption of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, DevOps, automation).
- Technical Program Management: Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities across multiple projects. Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the project lifecycle. Manage dependencies across systems and teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Manage expectations with senior management and engineering leads. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes, tools, and technologies for better scalability and efficiency.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering.

At least 15 years of experience in an information technology field, having at least10 years of prior experience as Project Manager or Program Manager.

At least 4 years of experience in technical hands-on software development/architecture.

You should be able to yourself perform minimum technical operations with IT systems, Software IDEs, Tools, and Reporting systems.

Experience with semiconductor software/firmware development lifecycle and organizations.
-
Experience of managing multicultural / multilocation teams in MNC(s) with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience with Information/Cyber security standards, practices and tools in Cloud and hosted environments.

Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Familiarity with source control systems (Git), issue tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) and CICD pipeline tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Nexus, GitHub, GitLab) .

Highly analytical and organized.

Strong on building and strengthening teams, with high level of coordination and delegation.

Ability to work with team members and stakeholders toward conflict resolution.

Outstanding planning, resource, and stakeholder management.

Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools used in Software Engineering.

Previous experience as a Software Engineer or Technical Lead or Architect.

Knowledge of software quality practices, security principles, and performance optimization.

Experience managing large-scale distributed systems or enterprise applications.

Exposure to AI/ML projects or modern software engineering trends.
