What You Will Work On:

You’ll support real hardware engineering tasks such as:

Verification

• Developing and debugging testcases and coverage items

• Setting up and running regressions to meet verification goals

• Analyzing code and functional coverage

Tool Automation

• Creating scripts for tool configuration and flow integration

• Building scripts for advanced data analysis

• Developing small apps to extend tool capabilities

This internship gives you the chance to see your code and ideas come to life in real design environments!

Your Profile:

You’re a motivated student studying Electrical Engineering, ICE/Telematics, Informatics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar field.

Skills that help you shine:

• Understanding the principles of ASIC design

• Understanding the principles of Design and Verification

• Scripting knowledge (python)

• Programming knowledge in Verilog/System Verilog is a plus

• You enjoy teamwork and taking initiative

• Good English skills (spoken and written)

Availability: Full-time for1–3 months starting in June/July 2026

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.100- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
