This Indirect Buyer position offers you the opportunity to have real impact while working with some of the most creative and forward-thinking people in the world.
What you’ll be doing:

Implement day to day procure-to-pay transactions for indirect/non-inventory purchases by converting purchase requests into standard POs.

Negotiate better pricing and terms with suppliers.
-
Work with internal customers to understand purchasing needs and timelines.
-
Ensure assurance of supply by following up on deliveries and tracking the end-to-end supply cycle.

Process returns and expedite deliveries as needed.
-
Deliver cost saving results and minimize commercial risks in the supply management areas.
-
Select reliable sources, request bids, evaluate quotations, make supplier selection, and negotiate contracts as required to purchase materials and services.

Success in this position will be measured through impeccable customer service, quality and speed of order fulfillment, cost savings realization, supply base management, process and toolset improvements, collaboration, analytics, responsive communication and compliance with NVIDIA policies and procedures.
What we need to see:

BA/BS degree with purchasing or equivalent experience.
-
5+ years of Purchasing experience.

Self-starter with excellent customer service credentials, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
-
Very detail oriented with proven negotiation experience as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
-
Strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
-
Flexible schedule and ability to work off hours.
-
Coupa experience/ Coupa admin preferred.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
-
SAP experience preferred but not required.
-
Working with a global based community, experience working in high pressure settings, successful time management, ability to manage and prioritize large email volume.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 100,000 USD - 161,000 USD for Level 3, and 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD for Level 4.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
