NVIDIA has been redefining computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. The world of computing is constantly evolving, and we believe that data scientists and engineers should be able to seamlessly accelerate their applications and workflows. NVIDIA CUDA-X brings accelerated computing to data science libraries, query engines, and vector databases to power data processing for the era of AI. This translates into faster results, lower costs, and better scalability through a new computing paradigm.
Want to get involved? We’re looking for an outstanding Senior Product Manager to help guide development and drive enterprise adoption of accelerated computing in the world of structured data query engines spanning Presto, Velox, DuckDB, Polars, Spark, and more. You’ll work with a community of developers, partners, researchers, and NVIDIA’s world-leading engineering and field teams to help invent the future of accelerated data processing, from lakehouses to databases and everything in between.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Define, own, and drive the strategy enabling the world’s enterprises to adopt accelerated query engines powered by NVIDIA’s platform
-
Engage deeply with customers, ISVs, storage partners, and CSPs to find opportunities to improve their experience, owning the voice of the customer and incorporating insights into hardware and software roadmaps and priorities
-
Collaboratively develop and lead enterprise go-to-market motions, working with a cross-functional team on asset creation, market research, positioning, enablement, etc.
-
Track and act on important measures for adoption, engagement, and customer success to continuously improve our value proposition and developer experience
-
Serve as the point person for presenting vision, opportunities, and progress, setting expectations and managing internal and external collaborators
What we need to see:
-
BS or MS Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Applied Math, Computational Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience
-
10 years of product management experience (or similar) focused on data analytics technologies
-
Excellent balance of deep technical and business knowledge of the data analytics space
-
Analytical approach and ability to synthesize user research, engineering feasibility, and market trends into product strategy
-
Track record of working closely with and activating partner ecosystems
-
Outstanding communication skills with demonstrated ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
-
Experience with accelerated data analytics software, including cuDF
-
Experience collaborating with and contributing to open-source projects related to databases, lakehouse and warehouse query engines, or similar
-
Proven ability to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
