Are you ready to join a team that is pushing the boundaries of what's possible? NVIDIA is looking for a world-class Engineering Lab Technician to support our advanced development and production engineering teams. You'll be part of a collaborative team developing and testing innovative thermal management systems for our data center accelerated computing solutions. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work with advanced technologies and make a significant impact in the world of computing.
What we need to see:

Assemble IT rack infrastructure including servers, rack power distribution units, and rack coolant manifolds.

Assist with methods for IT assembly and rack installation.
-
Perform common hardware validation activities including platform set-up, configuration, running tests and benchmarking.
-
Assemble, debug, and operate highly instrumented test set-ups.
-
Set up data acquisition systems to gather data during thermal validation.
-
Perform thermal chamber testing of IT equipment.
-
Participate as One Team on a broad spectrum of activities/needs (e.g., build, validation, support) of product and research programs.
-
Update system configs and assist with documentation.
What We Need to See:
-
Diploma/Certification, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in related field (or equivalent experience).
-
5 years’ of hands-on experience in an electronic or testing lab.
-
Fundamental knowledge of computing architectures and relevant hands-on hardware/software debug experience.
-
Experience with Linux command line operation.
-
Solid system-level debugging experience & familiarity with board bring-up and customer support.
-
Good attention to detail, as well as clear written and verbal communications skills.
-
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
-
Experience with lab test equipment setups for signal measurement using oscilloscopes and ability to read schematics.
-
Experience in running different IT cooling devices such as coolant distribution units (CDUs), liquid-to-air heat exchangers, and chillers..
-
Networking knowledge and server maintenance.
-
Demonstrated ability to build tools, write scripts, and otherwise overcome problems in deterministic ways.

Mechanical/machine room experience (3d printing, CNC, etc.).

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 72,000 USD - 120,750 USD.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
