This is our life’s work, to amplify human inventiveness and intelligence. NVIDIA is seeking an Engineering Technician to build, debug and support global HW infrastructure for silicon validation. The complex nature of the hardware creates interesting challenges. Therefore, someone with a solid understanding and innovative thinking is required to support meeting critical breakthroughs.
As part of the SCG - Silicon Co-Design Group, we are responsible for productizing NVIDIA's chips into groundbreaking consumer, professional, server, mobile and automotive solutions.
What Will You Be Doing:
Lead and coordinate setups, configure and maintain lab machines consisting of GPUs, CPUs and SoCs collectively call HW farm
Setup and operate lab equipment such as scopes, thermal solutions, debugger systems, data acquisition systems as needed for testing and debug.
Conduct sanity runs on farm systems to ensure accurate thermal and power levels before releasing to users
Perform first level debug to isolate issues at both hardware (GPU board, motherboard and HW peripherals) and software levels (OS, Drivers, Firmware, etc.)
Provide critical support, collaboration with infrastructure, facilities, and hardware rework lab groups
Maintain inventory of all equipment in the farm.
What We Need to See:
BS degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant industry experience
In-depth knowledge of various motherboard platforms, SoCs, PC HW such as graphic cards, memory and storage
Familiarity with modular and cross-platform display driver branches.
Basic knowledge of scripting and coding is required.
Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with the team.
Excellent problem solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience in managing hardware, lab setups, and software issues in the lab.
Background with handling lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers)

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 60,000 USD - 101,200 USD.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
