We are now hiring a Senior System Software Engineer, with focus on Automotive Functional Safety and Security. This world-class engineer will join the Tegra system software team. This position will be part of an exciting team that develops and maintains systems software for complex heterogeneous computing systems that power innovative automotive products. The Tegra system software team team plays a vital role in realizing the vision behind these products by building core technologies and platform solutions that are not only competitive, but industry-first.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Working on Architecture and development work on NVIDIA SOC
-
Focus on Tegra system software stack software architecture and design
-
Get to drive implementation activities, participate in development and guide other engineers
-
Perform all work in accordance with safety and security standard (ISO26262, ISO21434, ASPICE)
-
Collaborate with program and safety process team to align requirements, design and development schedules
-
You will need to gain proficiency in one of the technology areas and be able to support design of those components for upcoming chips.
What we need to see:
-
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer/Electronics engineering or related field
-
5+ years of relevant experience
-
Excellent C programming skills
-
Deep understanding of embedded systems architecture: CPU, memory, buses and interconnects, Operating Systems and device drivers
-
Experience with designing software for complex, high performance hardware acceleration engines
-
Experience with designing and development software in accordance with functional safety and cybersecurity standards: ISO26262, J3061, EAL/CC
-
Excellent communication skills
