As a Senior Software Engineer, Robotics at NVIDIA, you have the rare opportunity to develop the future of Physical AI Robots, such as Humanoid Robots. By driving sim-first development, real-world deployment, and continuous learning, you will ensure our robots become smarter over time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to make a significant impact on innovative technology.
What you will be doing:
-
Bring the latest advancements in Physical AI to both simulated and real humanoid robots by building a humanoid reference platform, showcasing the power of NVIDIA's technology.
-
Collaborate across team boundaries to integrate NVIDIA robotics products such as Jetson Thor, Isaac GR00T, and Isaac Lab into one comprehensive solution for humanoid robots.
-
Drive real-world deployment of highly reliable coordinated robotics applications: It's not done until it works on the robot.
What we need to see:
-
Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
-
8 years of relevant robotics software engineering experience.
-
Proven experience in building and deploying robust, reliable, and performant robotics stacks for complex, AI-powered robots; from high level architecture to implementation details.
-
Proficiency in Python and C, CUDA, and middleware. Willingness to learn new languages and tools as needed.
-
Experience in robot learning, including reinforcement and imitation learning, and sim-to-real transfer of learned policies.
-
Demonstrated ability to influence and energize multi-functional teams without formal authority. This includes building consensus, driving initiatives forward, and crafting positive momentum amid competing priorities or difficult technical problems.
-
Ability to adapt to fast-paced development lifecycles, multi-functional organizations, new technologies, and platforms.
-
Enthusiasm for providing guidance and mentorship.
-
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

-
Experience with humanoid robot whole-body control, manipulation, or locomotion.
-
Track record of building mature robotics solutions.
