About the role

This role leads and grows the Candidate Experience (CEx) operation, focusing on operational quality, consistency, and efficiency at Nubank.

You will have full responsibility for the CEx function, with the freedom to make key decisions, lead a large team, and serve as the main point of contact for senior recruiting managers and technical stakeholders. This position involves team leadership,large-scale operations, practical data use, and senior stakeholder management, with the opportunity to grow into global operations leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Scale

Take responsibility for the daily operations of CEx, working to minimize incidents and improve consistency, quality, and reliability.

Manage team allocation across pipelines and competing demands.

Resolve operational incidents at the pipeline level (non-critical cases) to ensure service continuity.

Adapt the team's approach to support global growth, encourage greater local leadership, and reduce reliance on yourself.

People Management

Directly manage a team of about 13 CEx members, supporting their growth, performance, and engagement.

Oversee all aspects of team performance, including giving tough feedback and making decisions on exits and improvement plans.

Build a strong, adaptable team that can work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Data & Insights

Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as:

Hiring engagement and participation

Candidate NPS and improvement opportunities

Operational efficiency and quality metrics

Turn data into practical insights and clear action plans for improvement.

Prepare reports and analyses to support leaders' informed decision-making.

Stakeholder Management

Be the main point of contact for:

Heads of Recruiting (Tech and Enterprise)

Senior business stakeholders who lead different functions and hiring guilds

Hiring guilds themselves and other cross-functional forums

Help resolve conflicts, set priorities, and shield the team from distractions.

Represent CEx in both day-to-day and strategic meetings.

What we’re looking for

Must-have qualifications

Significant experience leading large-scale operations, ideally in recruiting, talent acquisition, support, program delivery, or similar areas.

Experience managing large teams (10+ people).

Experience in team performance management, including improvement plans and terminations.

Strong analytical capability and comfort working with data, metrics, and reporting.

Experience working with and influencing senior leaders in complex organizations.

Able to make difficult decisions with empathy and a clear sense of responsibility.

Good understanding of recruiting processes (not necessarily an expert, but more than entry-level).

Familiarity with automation and AI tools.

Exposure to large-scale ATS platforms.

Nice to have

Previous experience with Ashby, Good Time, and Greenhouse.

Previous experience in Recruiting Ops or TA Ops.

Exposure to global, high-growth environments.

Experience working in environments with extensive automation or technology.

Proven ability to build or improve the way teams work.
