Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS)is currently seeking a *Staff Principal I&T Lead *will be onsite at any of the following locations *Huntsville, AL, Beavercreek, OH, Bellevue, NB Orlando FL. *The Integration & Test Lead is responsible to develop and execute test strategies (unit, integration, system, qualification) for the overall weapon system, including coordination / oversight of each IPT's test plan to ensure alignment and coverage of all test requirements for the system. The Lead will also be responsible for defining/designing HWIL/SIL labs from the ground up, leading operational test support and defining system MOEs/MOPs. Performance of progressive Integration (turret, radar, etc., as they emerge), along with Quarterly test events will be required to mitigate risk towards the final test.
Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 Years with bachelor's in science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD

  • Strong technical and analytical background

  • System of Systems I&T Test

  • Hardware Integration

  • Dynamic modeling background with experience in reduced order modeling

  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages

  • Experienced distilling complex relationships and results into easy-to-understand presentations and reports

  • Experienced in leading MODSIM development teams and efforts in line with description

  • Experienced with validating models with real-world test results

  • Willingness to travel to support customer engagements and IPT test events (< 25%)

  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MODSIM tools such as AFSIM or STK

  • Operational background to apply personal experiences in military to MODSIM

  • Familiarity with CBAD subsystems (guided ammunition, radar, cannons, coms equipment, C2, etc.)

  • Data science or advanced analytics experience

  • Familiar with Agile development and use of JIRA

  • Effector, Air Defense and Vehicle Integration
    Primary Level Salary Range: $103,200.00 - $202,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
