Senior Avionics Engineer

Your Role

The Senior Avionics Engineer will be working with the Capability Development team in the development and certification of capability enhancements to the C-27J aircraft.

You will also have accountability for:

• The Development, review & approval of various aircraft Avionics / Electrical and/or Electronic System technical repair and design documents
• Providing engineering input to maintaining the C-27J configuration, technical and operational publications
• Ensuring that the Engineering Task management data base and other tools are accurately updated with relevant information
• Analysing data and the preparation of reports for meetings
• Managing engineering workflows and tasks in coordination with customer organisation priorities to maintain airworthiness, mission capability and aircraft availability

About You

• The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1
• Bachelor's degree in aerospace Avionics and/or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Chartered Membership of Engineers Australia (CPEng), RPEQ
• Minimum 3+ years' experience as an Avionics and/or Electrical/Electronic Engineer in Defence Aviation
