Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Engineer Systems Test. This position will be located in *Roy, UT *and will support the *Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'*ll Get To Do:

Synthesize test requirements into verification requirements, test objectives, success criteria, and required resources for system level tests and demonstrations.

Support the development of test requirements and detailed integration test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews (TRRs), test data and test reports.

Execution of qualification and acceptance testing per those requirements, plans and procedures.

Participate in internal and customer test planning working groups.

Support program reviews and customer delivery (CDRL) development
-
Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.

Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements.

Collaborate with systems engineers, testing houses, development engineers and other stakeholders involved in the testing process.

Review test plans, procedures, and reports; witness testing as the Cognizant Engineer

Participate in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with customers (internal/external) and contributing to a broad range of program deliverables.

Review requirements, develop Test Plans and write Test Procedures.

Execute tests, manage and prioritize problems/failures.

Review and evaluate test results and provide summary reports.

Work with cross functional, multi-discipline test teams.

Identify configurations to support test and prototypes of developing systems.

Perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data.

Document test results and prepare test status documentation.

Create Test Discrepancy Reports to document issues.

Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You*'*ll Bring These Qualifications: -
8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's Degree; or 4 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

Experience with creating test documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reports.

Experience with integration and test principles and processes

Experience with systems engineering principles and processes
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: -
US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

Experience with Verification Cross Reference Matrices.

Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS

Experience with Model-Based Engineering Tools

Experience developing and executing integrated hardware and software testing.

Experience with IBM JAZZ

Experience with ICBMs or DoD programs

Experience with AF Test Directive 99-103

Salary Range: $107,800.00 - $161,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
