Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division programs including the Sentinel (GBSD) program.
Roles and Responsibilities
This Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst will use Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to analyze, track, and report on project performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures.

EVM Analysis and Reporting:

_Collects, analyzes, and interprets data related to project costs, schedules, and performance.
_Prepares and presents comprehensive EVM reports to stakeholders, including variance analysis and forecasts.
_Identifies potential cost and schedule risks, issues, and recommends corrective actions.

Compliance and Best Practices:

_Ensures compliance with industry standards (e.g., ANSI/EIA-748, EVMS) and company procedures.
_Maintains the integrity of the EVMS and ensures its proper implementation.
_Provides guidance and training to project teams on EVM principles and best practices.

Budget and Financial Planning:

_Assists in the development and maintenance of programmatic budgets and financial plans.
_Participates in financial auditing and assessment of completed projects.
_Collaborates with program management, business management, scheduling, and technical teams.
_Experience in subcontractor compliance with EVM requirements which includes the integration of subcontract data into the prime contractor's EVMS and analyzes performance metrics to identify and address potential issues.
Basic Qualifications
_Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.

Government Do

D Secret Security Clearance:

_Requires a bachelor's degree with 5 years of Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace and Defense Business-related experience; 3 years with a master's degree; or 9 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) in lieu of a degree
_Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, Power

Point and Excel:

_Requires 3 years experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or financial/program analysis
_Requires experience supporting DoD contracts and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
_Requires experience with ANSI/EIA-748 EVMS guidelines and government reporting requirements
_Requires experience with Deltek Cobra, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other EVM tools.
_Preferred Qualifications Active DoD Secret level security clearance (with the investigation in the past 6 years)
_Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
_Experience with Excel (including Pivot tables, Vlook Up, VBA and Macros)
_Experience with EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6)
_3 or more years' experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principals and applying Earned Value Techniques in an Aerospace & Defense environment
_Experience managing and analyzing project costs using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
_Experience supporting contracts with EVMS requirements
_Proficiency in Power BI, and data visualization tool
_Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
