Job Description: IOO Cash Postings

Role Title

Senior Analyst – Cash Postings

Purpose of the Role

To ensure accurate and timely posting of cash transactions within the Investment Book of Record (IBOR) and manage associated payment processes for global clients. This role supports investment managers by maintaining data integrity and adhering to client SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day cash posting activities for Market Operations within IOO.

  • Process transactions, payments, and handle SWIFT/fax instructions.

  • Post journal entries for subscriptions, redemptions, ad-hoc cash, and custodian-sourced cash.

  • Assess exceptions and deviations from standard processes; take corrective actions promptly.

  • Maintain golden copies of data in EUC and COE databases.

  • Ensure compliance with client SLAs and internal risk management protocols.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Reconciliations, Income, Oversight, CSMs, Trade Ops) and external custodians & Transfer Agency.

  • Support automation initiatives using macros and Xceptor tools.

  • Participate in BCP (Business Continuity Planning) and transfer-of-work protocols across Bangalore and Pune locations.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of global trade processing and financial products (Cash Equities, Fixed Income, FX, FDs).

  • Familiarity with capital and money markets and clearing institutions.

  • Proficiency in industry utilities like OASYS, MISYS.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in financial services, preferably in investment banking or investment management.

  • Exposure to IBOR processes and cash management workflows is an advantage.
