Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experience through delivering exceptional brand storytelling and advertising experiences on Nordstrom owned properties. These experiences will support our Brands' success and help our customers feel good and look their best.
Job Summary
As a member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, you will partner closely with the Nordstrom Media Network to help drive forward our customer experience through innovative brand discovery destinations. You will operate at the intersection of product, engineering, retail media sales, merchandising, operations and user experience design.
You will use data-driven insights to build and implement a roadmap that scales Brand Discovery across Nordstrom's brand portfolio while establishing the page architecture and ad server integration needed to make these brand pages a core revenue driver. You will make product decisions that align with the guiding principles: enhance the customer experience, connect customers with brands, drive partner performance, and build products that are uniquely Nordstrom.
A day in the life...

Product Strategy and Vision - Define and drive the product vision for brand landing pages, ensuring alignment with Nordstrom customer experience standards and Nordstrom Media Network revenue goals. Evangelize this vision with key stakeholders across NMN, Digital Merchandising, Ad Operations, and Engineering.

Content Strategy & Governance - In conjunction with user experience design team, define brand landing page experiences. Establish methods for content prioritization, inventory expectations, and customer experience quality within.

Continuous Discovery and Insights - Monitor KPI performance for brand pages, measuring both ad-served content and organic recommendations. Keep current with competitive retail media offerings and market research to identify differentiation opportunities and feature needs

Prioritization and Planning - Prioritize the product roadmap balancing scale, richness, and operational efficiency. Drive towards quarterly revenue targets while maintaining customer experience metrics.

Definition and Decomposition - Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurement plans for brand page features, ad slot definitions, trafficking workflows, and reporting capabilities.

Collaboration and Influence - Collaborate with Nordstrom Media Network Sales and Ad Operations teams to translate what brands want into page design requirements. Align with NMN and Digital Merchandising teams on scalable brand onboarding processes.

Drive Impact - Work with Engineering to drive progress against deliverables through day-to-day backlog management, agile ceremonies, and launch planning. Work with Ad Ops to ensure trafficking standards and operational handoffs function smoothly.

Measurement & Reporting - Partner with Analytics teams to build reporting for brand pages showing holistic campaign performance and demonstrate incremental value and ROI for brand advertisers.

Qualifications
Required:
-
3+ years of product management experience in ad tech, retail media networks, or e-commerce platforms
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, business or related technical discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Strong collaboration skills with UX and engineering teams to translate customer requirements into page designs and technical integrations
-
Proven ability to work with ad operations teams, understanding trafficking processes, campaign setup, and operational handoffs
-
Proficient in data analysis and advertising performance metrics
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to various levels within a matrixed organization
-
Outstanding organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
-
Self-starter with strong drive and meticulous attention to detail—able to own initiatives end-to-end while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
Preferred:
-
Experience with retail media networks, sponsored content placements, or advertising-supported content platforms in marketplace environments
-
Experience with ad server platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager) including implementation, integration and optimization
-
Background in recommendation systems and personalization, understanding how algorithmic content and ad-served content work together within products
-
Experience with content management systems (Sanity, AEM) and digital asset management workflows
-
Understanding of SEO implications related to landing experiences

$142,000.00 - $220,500.00 Annual
