Educational Recommendations:

Candidate should be working towards a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Photonics and Optical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university or college in the United States

• General Office suite familiarity
• Familiarity with general computing concepts
• Experience with IP networking
• Experience with Windows and Linux
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds

It would be nice if you had:

• Experience with scripting or other programming languages such as python, go, etc

• Maintain inventory of equipment

• Maintain general Lab tidiness and organization

• Provide hands-on assistance to local and remote staff with

• Installation/removal/upgrades/reconfiguration/troubleshooting of optical transport equipment

• Other duties as required
