You will be joining the FN Enterprise Team that is hosted in BBN (Broadband Networks BU). This Enterprise Team has strong focus on developing the Enterprise Market with an Optical LAN solution: responsibilities include Go-To-Market Strategy Definition, Partner Engagement, Product/Portfolio Management, a Center of Expertise (CoE) on Optical LAN End-to-End Solutions and an E2E validation team.

The product/portfolio management team on Optical LAN has strong focus on effectively defining and sustaining so-called blueprint solutions for the different market segments. This team owns the E2E solution, with focus on the evolution and the lifecycle support of all key building blocks of the solution: OLTs, ONTs and management solutions. All this in close cooperation with the respective PLM teams for these building blocks.

You have:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent background with min 9 to 15 years' experience.

  • Good knowledge of networking & telecommunication concepts

  • Customer-focus: understand customer needs (and customer use cases)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills to many stakeholders: PLM teams, R&D teams, pre-sales and partner-facing teams.

  • Coordination skills, to steer other teams in terms of feature development, with priority setting and by providing relevant background

  • Sound understanding of PON technology and OLAN product portfolio

  • Knowledge of the Campus LAN market and/or Active Ethernet LAN solutions is a plus

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with project and /or release management (such as a TPM or rPLM role)

  • Familiar with requirement capturing processes

  • Are you passionate about creating best-in-class innovative solutions for the growing LAN (campus) market, based on our strengths in PON technology? As part of the FN Enterprise team, you will:

  • Work closely with our partners and PLM teams to define and help develop the best-possible Optical LAN solution. With strong focus on supporting a blueprinted solution that is synchronized over the different domains, from OLT to ONT and to the management solution.

  • Closely cooperate with the FN PLM and R&D teams to come to an Enterprise roadmap, including proper handling of priorities and segmentation.

  • Capture and consolidate and prioritize feature requests coming from the OLAN market worldwide.

  • We are looking for a team player with business accumen and with sound product/technical background, who will work closely together with peer (R&D and PLM) groups across different functional teams. You can conceptualize the big picture as well as dive into product details and use cases to set priorities.
