As a QA Engineer you will be defining and implementing effective test strategies, develop comprehensive test plans, and automate test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery. you will be working on various testing methodologies, frameworks, and scripting languages to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

Perform automation testing on complex network systems, handle troubleshooting and debugging issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvements in testing processes and product reliability and delivery.

You have:

• A strong individual contributor with 3-7 years of testing experience in EMS/NMS or OSS.
• Expertise in T-API standards and usage of the tools.
• Hands on experience in DWDM, SDH/SONET, Ethernet & GMPLS protocols
• Good Basic knowledge of Unix shell programming and skills of basic SQL Queries.
• Experience in writing exhaustive test plan and automating test cases.
• Should have strong experience in building complex network topologies for test.
• Urge to automate using existing tools and make regression tests extensive.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Hands on experience in defining or using test automation framework.

• Hands on experience in anyone scripting language (Python, Perl).

• Experience in using SDN controllers like ONOS, ODL, ONAP etc.

• Define test strategies, write comprehensive test plans and automate test cases.

• Gain expertise in RHEL or Unix-based operating systems and scripting.

• Work in T-API area and validate the request and response as per the T-API standards.

• Develop domain knowledge in OTN, DWDM, SDH/SONET, Ethernet, and GMPLS transport protocols.

• Work with database systems like Oracle or equivalent.

• Enhance analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot complex systems.
