The Global Leader of the Execution Office for Autonomous Networks is a senior role responsible for orchestrating and optimizing the end-to-end execution and planning across all product releases within the Autonomous Networks organization. This pivotal role directly manages all global program managers and release managers, driving operational excellence, identifying critical efficiency opportunities, and leading strategic change initiatives to accelerate product delivery and market impact. The leader will ensure seamless coordination, predictable execution, and continuous improvement across a complex, global product portfolio.
This role will be part of the new MI Autonomous Networks organization
Education:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
Experience:
-
Minimum 15+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles managing large global teams.
-
Proven track record of successfully leading complex, multi-product release cycles and driving significant improvements in execution efficiency and speed.
-
Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and application lifecycle management.
-
Demonstrated expertise in leveraging, contributing to, and managing open-source components and ecosystems.
-
Understanding and practical experience with various software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe) and DevOps/GitOps practices tailored for cloud-native environments.
Technical Skills:
-
Strong grasp of CI/CD tools and practices for cloud-native deployments (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, etc).

Familiarity with modern cloud-native architecture principles, distributed systems & microservices.
-
Understanding of containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker, and their impact on release and deployment strategies.
-
Proficiency with project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, etc).
-
Familiarity with open-source technologies and their integration into product ecosystems.
-
Familiarity with security, observability and network management domains is a plus

Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to translate vision into actionable execution plans.

Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging diverse audiences at all levels, including executive leadership.

Strategic Execution & Release Planning:

Define and implement a comprehensive global execution strategy and planning framework for all Autonomous Networks product releases, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.

Oversee the development and management of integrated release roadmaps, master schedules, and critical path analyses across the entire product portfolio.

Ensure robust planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation strategies are in place for all programs and releases.
-
Drive predictable and timely delivery of high-quality software and solutions to market.
Global Program & Release Management Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of program managers and release managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Establish and standardize best practices, tools, and methodologies for program and release management across the organization (e.g., Agile, Scrum, SAFe, DevOps principles).
Operational Efficiency & Change Management:
-
Proactively identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within the entire product development and release lifecycle.

Design and implement strategic initiatives and process changes to enhance execution speed, quality, and resource utilization.
-
Champion the adoption of new technologies, automation, and methodologies that drive faster and more efficient delivery.

Lead organizational change management efforts to embed new processes and foster a culture of agility and continuous delivery.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
-
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for execution, release predictability, quality, and efficiency across the Autonomous Networks portfolio.

Provide transparent and regular reporting on program and release status, risks, and performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Implement robust governance models to ensure adherence to established processes and standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
-
Collaborate extensively with R&D, Product Management, Business Units, Sales, and Customer Operations to ensure alignment on priorities, requirements, and delivery commitments for all Autonomous Networks products.

Act as a primary point of contact for executive-level communication regarding program and release execution status and strategic initiatives.
