As the Quality Assurance (QA) Lead, you will own the wafer fab’s product quality system. You will lead a cross‑functional team (Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Test/Probe) to ensure defect prevention, rapid excursion response, and continuous improvement of yield and reliability.
MS or PhD in Physics, Materials, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
More than 10 years in semiconductor manufacturing with at least 2 years in QA leadership.
Expertise in Six Sigma and 8D. Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent is preferred.
Hands‑on experience with wafer process and fab systems: MES, SPC, FDC/APC, metrology, inspection and probe.
Strong communication skills for cross‑functional alignment.
Quality System & Compliance: Own and lead the maintenance of the Fab Quality Management System; ensure compliance with control plans.
Excursion Management & Root Cause: Chair Production Quality Management Reviews; drive rapid and effective excursion management, facilitate structured 8D and 5-Why investigations, and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.
New Product Ramp Readiness: establish criteria and lead manufacturing readiness reviews for new product introductions, ensuring robust quality controls and risk mitigation.
Quality Metrics & Reporting: Develop, maintain, and present the fab quality scorecard, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
Leadership & People: Lead cross-functional teams, set clear goals, manage projects effectively, and foster a culture of quality and accountability across the organization.
