The team you'll be part of

You will be part of CNCS R&D team in the Product & Engineering, IP Telephony (IPT) organization. The Cloud Native Communication Suite (CNCS) is the newest product in Nokia’s Core Networks portfolio. It provides a simplified IMS solution by consolidating multiple core network functions viz SBC, TAS, CSCF, MRF within a single CNF. This provides multiple optimizations over existing IMS core solutions.

• 3+ years of relevant R&D Development experience on Telco grade products.
• Good hands-on knowledge in Cloud Native, Microservices applications, using Containers and Virtualization Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Consul, Redis, gRPC, Helm, Envoy and Open-Source Integration.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Must display a high degree of willingness and ability to understand a new business domain, a new product, the product’s business and technical underpinnings.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Knowledge of Nokia Telco products CFX-5000, NTAS, Nokia SBC is a plus.

• Experience in IMS, VoLTE, 4G/5G core technologies is a plus.

• Contribute to CNCS feature enhancements across multiple core network NFs like SBC, TAS, CSCF, MRF.

• Contribute towards all aspects of software life cycle management including requirement analysis, design, implementation, and code reviews, and ensure timely delivery with quality.

• Analyse issues found in internal testing as well as in customer deployments in detail, identify the root cause and provide solutions in optimal quality.

• Participate in discussions with customers to understand their requirements, concerns, and contribute to finding solutions.

• Work effectively in a mixed environment and utilize best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
