Overview of the Job:
- The role is responsible for setting merchandising strategy, bringing end to end product insight with global and geo counterparts, as well as product sell-in to retailers. Serve GC consumers with the most relevant products to enable Nike’s vision and drive sustainable growth.
- Focus on Nike Kids.
Reporting Line:
- Direct report to Manager, Merchandising, NSP Kids GC
Key Partnership:
- Sports merch
- Assortment planning
- SSD
- VMS
- Account sales / Sell-in & Sell-through
Job Responsibility:
- Build clustered product assortments for different retail concepts in a consumer-centric way.
- Delivers robust product sell-in to retailers, including sell-in tools preparation, product presentation & showroom sample setup, etc.
- Uncovers consumer insights & explores marketplace trends to make art/science balanced assortment decisions.
- Drives in-season product management based on thorough weekly sales analysis & consumer feedback from retail stores.
- Proactively optimize the assortment strategy, swiftly adapting to the dynamic and ever-changing marketplace.
- Fuel comprehension of kids marketplace distinction.
- Coordinate cross Sport projects, process and deliverables.
Functional Skill Required (Hard skills):
- A deep understanding of GC Consumer and marketplace
- Solid Merchandising / buying experience in retail industry
- Fluent in English
- Strong retail and financial acumen
- Proficient in Office software

- Strategic thinker – articulate seasonal priorities to key counterparts with consistency and accuracy
- Highly responsible and resilient individual – excels in cross-functional communications ensuring seamless collaboration across teams to achieve common goals
