WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role will collaborate closely with a diverse set of stakeholders across Nike Supply Chain, its nominated logistics service providers (LSPs) and factories at both tactical and leadership level. This role is a critical connector across internal teams such as International Transportation Capabilities, International Transportation Operations, Trade and Customs, Product Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Delivery Excellence, etc and external teams such as factories, Origin Cargo Management (OCM), LSPs, transportation LSPs to ensure origin operations are well-executed across all origins and create also continuously evolving to achieve the key priorities of Nike Origin Operations. This role will report to Senior Manager, Origin Operations (based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam).
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate for the position of Manager, Origin Operations, to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia , will possess the following key attributes:

Holds a bachelor’s degree and brings a minimum 5 to 7 years of operational experience in origin cargo management, container trucking and ocean origin operations management e.g. vessel / capacity planning, forecasting, booking and shipment execution / coordination, etc.

Demonstrates strong people management skills, with a proven track record of leading teams in a control tower and/or origin operations environment.

Exhibits a solid understanding of supply chain operations, particularly in origin management relating to factories, logistics service providers (consolidation and ocean) and transportation.

Is familiar with origin operations and transportation management platforms, such as TMS and track and trace systems.

Possesses excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills across various management levels.

Thrives in fast-paced, global environments and maintains a results-driven approach.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will be part of Origin Operations team for delivering reliable and consistent origin cargo and ocean management operations across origins to all Geographies (GEOs), ensuring shipments move seamlessly across Nike supply chain and leads origin cargo management team to optimize streamline processes, optimize performance and strengthen partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include and not limited to:

Leading the team to perform required operational execution across origin cargo management and container trucking in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and service level with factories and Nike appointed logistics service providers.

Leading the team to manage ocean freight operational execution from origin, ensuring timely execution with ocean carriers, logistics service provider, factories across ocean management areas such as carrier booking, equipment coordination, capacity management, etc in accordance to SOP and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Monitoring key origin and ocean operations milestones and acting as escalation point for team on unresolved / high impact issues to ensure timely resolution to minimize disruptions impacting cargo flow at origin.

Acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for origin and ocean operations process and participate in new solution creation.

Driving continuous improvement in process efficiency in origin operations area.

Periodically conduct performance review, identify potential improvement areas and development improvement plan with relevant parties.

Guiding, mentoring, and inspiring your team to achieve excellence and fostering a high-performance and result-driven culture.
