Responsibility:
- Own end-to-end marketplace and consumer insights to fuel both digital and IMP business decision-making leveraging internal business data, key e-comm platform data capability, industry benchmarks, consumer behavior data, and search and social signals.
- Translate raw and extensive data into clear, compelling storylines and actional insights to identify key market trends, potential business opportunities, competitive dynamics, and category growth drivers.
- Develop deep consumer insights, incl. segmentation, purchasing behavior, preference, journey and demand patterns – to support targeted marketing, merchandising, and user experience decisions
- Partner closely with marketing, merchandising, and channel teams to translate insights into business priorities, initiatives, and roadmaps
- Lead and manage external agencies, partners, and vendor resources to deliver insights efficiently
- Provide proactive, forward-looking insights to leadership team, enabling data-backed decision making on channel strategy, assortment, pricing, promotion, and consumer engagements
- Continuously evolve the insights toolkit and reporting structure to improve analytics efficiency, visibility, and business influence.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional working experience. Consulting or strategy experience within the retail industry is highly preferred; extensive data analytics experience is a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and numerical acumen, with expertise in structured problem-solving. Exceptional ability to distill clear storylines and actionable insights from extensive data. Proven experience leading and managing external agencies to drive delivery.
- Exceptional sense of ownership and action-oriented mindset. Able to quickly grasp context, frame ambiguous problems, and drive end-to-end planning and execution in uncertain environments.
- Impeccable business judgment, with the ability to formulate hypotheses, design pilots, and apply structured problem-solving techniques to evaluate solutions.
- Demonstrated excellence in cross-functional collaboration, with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-stakeholder projects. Skilled in facilitating ideation, scoping, and strategic planning sessions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in analytics tools and major BI platforms.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English (written & spoken).
- Knowledge and passion for the sportswear industry is a strong plus.
