WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will work daily with Design, Development, and Merchandising partners to create the look of Nike Golf apparel for her. You will work closely with athletes and consumers to turn insights into an industry leading Nike Golf apparel product offering. You will also work with Sports Marketing, Finance, and Planning to ensure that product collections show up on the game’s greatest athletes, are consumer-right and meet target margin expectations. You will continually improve our process to deliver superior product, partnering with Operations to optimize our end-to-end creation model.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Lead Product Line Manager (global) for Nike Golf Women’s Apparel will need to have a deep understanding of the female golf consumer and marketplace, a passion for sport style, and knowledge of trend and golf culture. They must be able to identify marketplace opportunities, expertly communicate with a wide range of partners, and craft innovative product line strategies to serve golfers. This person will be a superior storyteller, have discerning taste, and make strategically sound decisions daily.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, merchandising or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
- Passion for the female golf consumer, product & marketplace
- Strong product creation and intuition for business
- Creativity and passion for product, lifestyle fashion, sport, color and style
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical abilities
- An understanding of apparel product construction and sourcing process
- Ability to lead and influence a team and enable collaborative working relationships
- Attention to detail and deadlines
- Necessary Skills/Tools: Visual Tool Creation (Powerpoint/Keynote/Miro), Excel Skills, Retail Math, Smartsheets
- Domestic and international travel (limited Int’l) required (±20% of time)
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As the Lead Product Line Manager for Nike Golf Women’s Apparel, you will be responsible for all Product Line Management deliverables. You will be an expert on the female golf consumer and marketplace and represent the voice of the athlete throughout the product creation process. You will lead your cross-functional team in executing against the Golf Apparel strategy and seasonal product briefs. You will create clear and compelling sell-in tools to build trust and excitement with internal and external stakeholders. You will cultivate a deep understanding of the Nike Golf Apparel Global Product strategy and maintain highly productive working relationships with partners across the enterprise. You will be an expert in the apparel creation process and have a track record of translating athlete insights into innovative and commercial products.
- Regularly collect consumer and marketplace insights, sharing key findings with cross‑functional teams
- Craft consumer‑right product briefs and lead the end‑to‑end product creation process
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for your book of business, communicating consistently with internal and external partners
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with enterprise strategy
- Partner closely with your triad team each week to drive product creation milestones, including product briefs, design reviews, external partner reviews and approvals, and sample order management and deadlines
- Strategically and efficiently guide the triad team through trade‑offs, challenges, and obstacles that arise during the creation process
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency while modeling professional excellence for the team
- Maintain accurate and effective sell‑in tools to support a variety of stakeholders
