WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As the Senior Merchant for North America (NA) Training, you’ll drive growth in our Women’s Training Apparel business. Reporting to the NA Merchandising Director of Women’s Training Apparel, you’ll partner closely with the larger NA Training Merchandising team, Women’s Training Channel Merchants, Sales, Planning, Nike Direct teams and our Global Women’s Training Apparel Merchandising team. This role is dynamic, inclusive, and consumer-focused—committed to collaboration and merchandising excellence in line planning and assortment building.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong retail and merchandising acumen, and works independently while staying solution-oriented. They excel at influencing and communicating across a large, matrixed organization and bring curiosity and adaptability to every challenge.
Key Qualifications:
· Open to work at PHK (Nike World Headquarters) in Portland, Oregon, Metro Area
· 2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying, or relevant experience
· Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or a combination of relevant experience
· Demonstrated understanding of consumer and marketplace dynamics
· Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends
· Experience curating product assortments and communicating the strategy behind it
· Proficiency in Retail Math
· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
· Entrepreneurial mindset with experience driving new projects or concepts
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to Leadership and cross-functional partners, formally and informally
· Solution-oriented, team-first mentality, Curious
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll be responsible for a portion of the Women’s Training business, curating consumer, marketplace and trend right product assortments for each of the franchises you lead. Using data driven insights, you’ll drive intentional seasonal line plans for North America and influence and long range line plans through the Line Planning process with the Global Women’s Training Apparel Merchandising teams..v both through a strategic and intentional line plan to serve the One of One, drive growth, and gain market share. Your work will shape the future of Women’s Training Apparel through strategic planning and operational excellence to ultimately drive growth, gain markets share and be the go-to brand for Women’s Training apparel.
Core Responsibilities:
· Curate seasonal modality-led assortments with clear franchise and marketplace distinction
· Drive a strong end-in-mind vision for each of the franchises you lead
· Be curious and up-to-date on current fitness and fashion trends. Apply this knowledge to seasonal assortments and future line planning moments
· Conduct seasonal Hind-sighting analysis to inform future season by turning insights into actions
· Present seasonal product strategies and assortments to Training Leadership, Global Merchandising and North America cross-functional partners
· Create and maintain season tools to support Sales, Channel Merchandising and Planning partners
· Responsible for seasonal pricing strategies, style adoptions & drops and VLP creation and ensuring systems are up-to-date
· Tie product journeys to Consumer and Sport moments, maximizing their impact to the consumer. Drive Head-to-toe color connectivity with footwear and other Cross-sport Women’s apparel businesses, Running and Sportswear
· Continuously partner with the Sales, Planning, and Insights teams to identify opportunities and drive growth for the franchises you own
