WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role sits within the Pacific Sales team, reporting to the Account Director. The Senior Partner Representative collaborates closely with Planning, Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, and Athlete Experience teams to deliver marketplace excellence. The position is Melbourne-based and works regularly with retail partners to drive growth.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is seeking a commercially minded individual with a passion for sport and deep knowledge of the Australian Sporting Goods landscape. The ideal candidate thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and driving account strategies that deliver growth. A strong connection to Football, Australian Rules, Rugby, Basketball, and Golf is essential. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements:
- 5–7 years’ experience in field sales, retail buying, merchandising, sales planning, or business analysis, preferably in the Sporting Goods industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally.
- Experience working within a matrix organisation.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to influence decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll lead account engagement, growth, and profitability in line with Nike’s strategy. This includes managing seasonal execution, refining processes, and identifying new opportunities to maximise efficiency and impact.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive account growth and profitability through strategic planning and execution.
- Lead cross-functional account teams through Go-To-Market (GTM) activities.
- Manage in-season execution and deliver seasonal commercial targets.
- Identify incremental growth opportunities and optimise account processes.
- Build strong relationships with key account stakeholders at all levels.
- Conduct retail market visits to assess Nike and competitor presence.
- Collaborate with Planning, Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, and Athlete Experience teams.
