WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role sits within Nike’s Pacific Marketplace team, reporting to the Account Portfolio Director. You’ll collaborate closely with Planning, Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, and Athlete Experience teams to deliver growth and profitability. The position is Melbourne-based and partners regularly with retail accounts across the region.

This individual will lead cross-functional teams through seasonal planning and execution, ensuring alignment with Nike’s vision while identifying opportunities for incremental growth. Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to influence at all levels are essential.
What you bring:
- 5–7 years’ experience in sales, retail buying, merchandising, business planning, or analysis, preferably in athletic goods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of business.
- Experience working within a matrix organisation.
- Strong understanding of sportswear/fashion marketplace and seasonal assortments.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll own a portfolio of accounts, driving engagement, growth, and profitability in line with Nike’s strategy. You’ll lead Go-To-Market (GTM) activities, manage in-season execution, and refine processes to maximise efficiency and impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional account teams through GTM planning and seasonal execution.
- Deliver seasonal commercial targets and identify incremental growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key account stakeholders.
- Analyse financial data to optimise assortments and maximise profitability.
- Partner with Planning, Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct retail market visits to monitor Nike and competitor presence.
- Manage day-to-day account operations and refine processes for efficiency.
