WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced social impact leader with a strong background in community sport, partnership management, and impact delivery to join the EMEA SCI and Nike London team.
You will bring a deep understanding of how sport can be used as a tool for social change, alongside the ability to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives in a global corporate environment. You are comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels, with strong local market insight—particularly across London’s community and sport landscape.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of Nike’s Social & Community Impact strategy across London and the UK, delivering programs aligned to Nike’s global commitment to creating the Future of Youth Sport. You will build and manage a portfolio of community and sport partnerships that drive measurable impact, while strengthening Nike’s presence and credibility within local communities through long‑term, purpose‑led engagement. The role also focuses on activating and engaging Nike employees across London through community and volunteering initiatives, and translating global SCI priorities into locally relevant, culturally informed programs that resonate with the communities we serve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Leading all aspects of Nike’s community impact strategy across London and the UK
- Synthesizing local insights to understand opportunities and barriers to equity through sport, particularly for young people
- Researching and maintaining a deep understanding of London and UK communities and the sport ecosystem
- Owning the process, decision‑making, and execution of all sport and community partnerships
- Developing and managing social impact investment strategies, including oversight of the London/UK SCI budget
- Engaging and aligning partners with shared goals to deliver impactful programs and partnerships
- Overseeing full portfolio governance, including legal review, due diligence, impact measurement, reporting, and partner management
- Collaborating closely with London/UK, EMEA, and Global teams, partnering cross‑functionally with Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing, Nike Direct, Communications, Government & Public Affairs, and other functions
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
In this role, you will work closely with EMEA and Global Social & Community Impact teams, as well as Nike London and UK leadership. You will collaborate cross‑functionally with partners across Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing, Nike Direct, Communications, and Government & Public Affairs, while also building strong relationships with external stakeholders including non‑profits, community organisations, sporting bodies, and public‑sector partners to deliver meaningful, community‑led impact.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously
- Strong project leadership and process ownership, delivering results in complex environments
- Experience structuring and managing partnerships across NGOs, government, sporting associations, and multilateral organisations
- Experience planning and managing corporate volunteering programs
- Strong understanding of the London community and sport landscape; an established network is preferred
- Knowledge of social impact, corporate responsibility, and community‑ or school‑based sport programming
- A solid understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion principles and their application in sport and community work
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences
