WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This is a high-visibility, high-learning job that requires consistent partnership across the Jordan Brand Comms teams and enterprise system across NIKE, Inc. You’ll report directly to the Global Director, Enterprise Communications and partner with others on the Enterprise Communications team to help translate business priorities into clear, compelling communications that land with employees, leaders and external audiences.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a true utility player to join our Enterprise/Business Communications team to support Jordan Brand’s executives, employee engagement, marketplace and corporate comms strategies. This person is passionate about sport and culture, and eager to help shape how we show up across the globe.
This role is ideal for a strong communicator who moves easily across workstreams and wants broad exposure to how enterprise storytelling, leadership communications and business strategy come together at scale.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field, Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- 3+ years of experience in corporate, enterprise, business and/or internal communications (in-house, agency or both) highly preferred
- Strong writing, editing and research skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice for different audiences
- Comfortable working across multiple types of communications (Corporate, Brand, Product, Media, etc.) and channels/platforms
- Understanding of the current media landscape, including national, regional, trade, and digital outlets.
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools such as Meltwater, Muck Rack, Brandwatch, News Whip or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Organized, detail-oriented and reliable under pressure
- Curious about the business and eager to learn how enterprise storytelling works.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You’ll support and help drive work across five core areas: enterprise/business, executive & leadership, employee, marketplace and corporate comms, including:
- Support enterprise-level storytelling tied to Jordan Brand business priorities, integrated communications planning and growth initiatives
- Help translate complex business strategies into clear, audience-relevant messaging
- Maintain editorial calendars, messaging trackers and engagement metrics to inform Business Comms content planning across Jordan Brand Comms team
- Draft and edit executive communications including talking points, emails, presentations and remarks
- Research and support thought-leadership and executive speaking opportunities
- Track and flag emerging coverage, trends and potential issues that impact Jordan Brand
- Support corporate media relations efforts by researching reporters, building and maintaining media lists and assisting with pitch development
- Support leadership moments such as all-team & leadership meetings, significant sport and culture events and key announcements
- Help shape internal engagement strategies and moments that drive clarity, create connection and foster engagement
- Help create and execute channel-right comms strategies to engage Enterprise-wide and retail employees
- Assist with marketplace and corporate initiatives that intersect with reputation, culture and business performance
Across all of this work, you’ll:
- Manage multiple workstreams at once without dropping the ball
- Write clearly, crisply and with a strong point of view
- Bring structure, follow-through and sound judgment to fast-moving projects
- Track and measure the effectiveness of Business Communication Initiatives, cataloguing efforts and gathering feedback and insights to continuously improve strategies and messaging.
- Participate in team planning sessions and contribute creative ideas for improving communications practices.
