Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Asset Management Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

The Asset Management Manager role involves directing and coordinating activities of personnel engaged in some or all of the following areas: assets planning, allocation, capex forecast control, assets purchasing and internal transfer, rental, delivery management, disposal by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Support the CAPEX forecasting and submission processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance utilization of key equipment (SMT, ICT, AXI, etc.).
  • Validate capacity requirements aligned with business plans during the CAPEX cycle.
  • Ensuring capacity is right sized to meet future business and technology needs.
  • Develop and support alternative capacity strategies (rental, outsourcing, etc.) for short-term demands.
  • Identify, coordinate, and support asset redeployment opportunities across operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to meet equipment delivery lead times and schedules for key projects.
  • Support the company’s digitization strategy, specifically related to equipment performance (PCBA).
  • Provide priority-based support for project launches related to equipment and capacity planning.
  • Coordinate asset disposal activities and ensure full compliance with internal processes and procedures.
  • Partner with Site and Segment Operations to drive productivity and utilization improvements.
  • Develop upgrade plans for aging equipment and technology with operational teams.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Mid-level experience in asset management or a similar role.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Basic understanding of finance.
  • Knowledge in logistics, PCBA, plastics, electronics, and/or metals is preferred.
  • Strong ability to track capital equipment during global shipments (e.g., to China) and deployment; experienced with intercompany transfers.
  • Advanced MS Office.
  • Ability to execute and deliver asset-related solutions to sites or business units.
