Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Engineering Support NPI PM located in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site.

Reporting to the **Program Manager,**This **Engineering Support NPI PM **role involves engineering activities services, NPI build material purchasing, sample shipment for design product for PSU, BBU, CESS and power shelf.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manage and coordinate TDC NPI material readiness, and provide CTB status to the PM lead for each build.
• Manage and coordinate with suppliers on TDC NPI build schedules from start to finish to ensure alignment with the PM lead’s schedule.
• Coordinate and maintain TDC NPI material shortage lists, and work with buyers to issue purchase orders.
• Obtain quotations for critical materials and release POs to suppliers.
• Review critical components with the RD team and propose second source options.
• Support the PO process in the Acquire system.
• Classify materials and apply appropriate HS codes to support shipment arrangements and customs clearance.
• Obtain required import permits through International Trade to support receipt of dangerous goods from factory builds

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree or above with experiences for material purchasing.
• At least 8 years of working experience and 5 years in electronical/mechanical materials, or supplier management, manufacturing or engineering background.
• Familiar with material purchase process in Mouser, Digi key or other channels
• Familiar with engineering BOM, cost analysis, ECO/MCO process
• Familiar in power electronics components, mechanical sheet metal, plastic parts, connector, PCB etc.
• Highly self- motivated to engage with R&D team to drive material and cost.
• Good communication skill, able to discuss with R&D and customers in English, including oversee colleague from China, US Austin, Malaysia and Mexico.
• Experienced in new supplier or components qualification is plus.
