Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Engineer located in Tijuana.

Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, the **Equipment Maintenance Engineer’s **role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.
• Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.
• Develop effective maintenance routines to avoid unscheduled downtime.
• Perform equipment installation qualifications and removal of process equipment.
• Analyzes and implements corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms.
• Records of times and problems in equipment logs.
• Provides daily equipment functioning activity information.
• Experience in medical devices industry (desirable).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Intermediate English
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Knowledge of vision systems, experience with servomechanisms and sensors, electrical control and PLC programming and diagnostics.
• Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspect components for defects.
• May require travel to other Flex sites or equipment vendors’ locations.
• Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.
