Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Design Quality Engineer located in Reynosa.

Reporting to the Quality Manager the Design Quality Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Ensure that the customer requirements are met and demonstrated though
• Validation planning
• Product assurance planning
• Asist in determining validation requirements and manufacturing change requests.
• Communicate and resolve validation with customers.
• Participating in the Engineering Gate Review Process.
• Experience with key tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, and PFMEA.
• Experience in 8D leadership. Problem-solving analysis (proposing solutions).
• Experience with multitasking, prioritization skills, and schedule management.
• Experience with GD&T.
• Experience in Automotive Industry (desirable)

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Intermediate English
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Initiates and leads the corrective action process as required and assists with the problem-solving process and tools. (i.e. 6Sigma, and Tier 1 requirements).
• Confers with engineers about quality assurance of new product designs,
• Supports manufacturing sites regarding existing product quality and helps to resolve issues.
