Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Quality Engineering Intern located in our Milpitas, CA site.

Reporting to the Sr. Quality Manager, the Intern the student will assist the Quality Team with projects impacting yields, performance and supporting Quality Systems, Suppliers, Auditing, Manufacturing, Mass Production and NPI.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Involvement with different Quality areas (Supplier Quality, Material Review Board (MRB), Quality Systems, Manufacturing Quality Engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction)
  • Analyze data and process flow procedures
  • Research and create various reports and procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams to address Quality issues related to suppliers and products, auditing results and overall improvement of KPI’s
  • Attend team meetings and support project work as needed

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

  • Junior/Senior student currently enrolled student majoring in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical & Computer Engineering (undergrad)
  • Risk Analysis coursework
  • Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
  • Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
  • MS Office Suite
  • Minitab or Statistical Software and basic concepts on Quality Core Tools and Management system
  • Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Previous Quality related internship experience a plus!

Internship Program Requirements:

  • Available to start on May 26th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer term assignment
  • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
    Pay Range (Applicable to California)

$19.13 USD - $26.31 USD Hourly
