EXIGENCES POUR R ÉUSSIR
- Expérience de supervision dans le commerce de détail (2 ans préférée)
- Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent
- Capacité démontrée à diriger une équipe
- Solides compétences en service à la clientèle et en communication verbale
- Disponibilité pour travailler selon un horaire flexible afin de répondre aux besoins d’un commerce de détail dynamique, incluant les fins de semaine et les jours fériés
- Capacité à : soulever fréquemment des charges de 4 lb ; soulever occasionnellement un maximum de 8 lb ; s’agenouiller ou s’accroupir fréquemment ; déplacer des boîtes de produits jusqu’à 50 lb (avec assistance si nécessaire) ; rester debout pendant de longues périodes ; monter occasionnellement des échelles ; monter et descendre fréquemment des escaliers (selon l’emplacement)
JOB MISSIONAs part of the New Balance retail leadership team, the part-time Retail Team Lead assists with duties such as opening/closing the store, driving results and delivering a world class experience for our guests. You will lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while communicating and coaching professionally with all associates
- Be results-driven in achieving our store key performance indicators through training and development of our associates
- Deliver a great guest experience utilizing our GUEST service model
- Opening/closing the store
- Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
- 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
- Ability to: lift 4 lbs. frequently; lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary); stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location)
Flexible Work Schedule

Our hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while providing high levels of flexibility to associates. North American office-based associates are expected to come into the office on Wednesdays, with other occasional in-office days for in-person meetings and events as needed. Our offices are fully open and amenities are available across our North American office locations.
