JOB MISSION:
The Trackster is responsible for being the New Balance face of brand with their local community and their local specialty retail account base. The Trackster is an integral part of growing brand awareness and stimulating end-consumers to try the products in their local communities. The role acts as a brand ambassador for New Balance with their local run clubs and other athletic minded individuals and will be tasked with setting up try-on events and other community activations. Our team member will be able to successfully execute product training, educational, promotional, and merchandising tasks for footwear, apparel, and accessories at running specialty and sporting goods accounts. This role is responsible for building strong business relationships with store owners, managers, and retail sales associates to drive sell-through on NB products. The Trackster team is fully equipped to make an impact through championing the brand in their local communities, in-person account visits, and national event support with a focused approach and direction.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Align with national strategy and brand goal directives from leadership.
- Act as brand ambassadors connecting with runners and athletic minded individuals in their local communities to host events and conduct product demos.
- Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with retail store sales staff and management
- Train Dick’s Sporting Goods associates on our technical running styles, field of play product and lifestyle offerings.
- Work with and support Fleet Feet stores across the country to educate and train staff and partner on community events.
- Work nationally sponsored events such as New York City Marathon, The Brooklyn Half Marathon and New Balance Indoor and Outdoor Nationals
- Stay current on industry trends, products, and communications.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent.
- Highly connected to the running space through participation in local run clubs and races
- A run specialty or sporting goods retail background is preferred
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Frequent travel and working on weekends
- Must be able to lift and carry sample bags or promotional event displays weighing up to 50 pounds • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable (as defined by NBAS auto insurance policy) driving record are required
Remote Office - (NB) MN Only Pay Range: $54,800.00 - $70,200.00 - $85,700.00 Annual (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)

Flexible Work Schedule
For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
