About the Team

As a member of the Data Engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage the data infrastructure supporting Netskope products. You will gain experience in building a complex, multi-tenant data lakehouse that operates at scale, leveraging cutting-edge technologies within a public cloud environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assist in the development of services used by Netskope products to validate, transform, load, and perform analytics on large amounts of data using distributed systems.

• Support the team in researching and evaluating various open source technologies for potential use cases.

• Contribute to the testing and documentation of scalable data mining and data analytics frameworks.

• Learn and apply best practices in system architecture by working with other engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.

• Proficiency or coursework in at least one of the following programming languages: Scala, Python, Java, or Golang.

• Solid foundation and understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Familiarity with distributed systems or large-scale data processing concepts.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Intention of pursuing a career in Data Engineering.
