About the role

By bringing together zero trust security with network optimization, Netskope Borderless WAN allows customers to confidently provide secure, high-performance access to every remote user, device, site, and cloud. It also simplifies the on-boarding of traffic to the Netskope Security Cloud and New Edge network, so customers can on-board more quickly and efficiently.

What's in it for you

We are looking for Software Engineers who are highly-focused on the quality of their software, and who can work in a fast paced environment at the cutting-edge of WAN edge & Cloud networking. As part of the management platform you will be delivering components of the SaaS solution that enables customers to configure and manage their devices. You will be participating in all phases of the development lifecycle from technical design to delivery, while ensuring quality and performance.

What you will be doing

• Design and develop services in our TypeScript / Go service infrastructure that support millions of devices and clients.

• Evaluate open source technologies to find the best fit for our needs, and contribute to some of them to meet our unique needs and help the community.

• Coordinate with other service development teams, product management and support teams to ensure scalability, supportability and availability for owned services and dependent services

Required skills and experience

• 8+ years of software development experience

• Excellent programming skills and hands-on experience with either Type

Script or Go:

• Experience designing and developing cloud microservices that are deployed and used at scale

• Good understanding of distributed systems, data-structure and algorithms

• Energetic self-starter, with the desire to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good to know

• Cloud operations

• Kubernetes and deployments on GCP

• Database technologies

• Mongo

DB and Postgres:

• Experience with ADR and other product processes

• Prior experience working in a distributed (remote) team environment·

Education

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent training/knowledge
