A DAY IN THE LIFE...

Lead and manage Waters sales force and distributors within the assigned region to achieve volume, value, distribution, and numeric & weighted distribution targets.

Translate national Waters strategy into actionable regional execution plans across GT, TT, OOH, and Key Regional Accounts

Cascade regional sales targets, ensuring each salesperson has clear KPIs aligned with Waters objectives.

Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sell‑out performance and provide corrective action to close gaps

Ensure strong field execution including distribution, availability, pricing compliance, POSM deployment, display execution, and activation roll‑out. (Based on merchandising & POP oversight)

Conduct routine market visits to check execution quality, competitive landscape, and identify growth opportunities.

Manage and optimize territory planning, route productivity, and call efficiency to maximize coverage

Perform full distributor management: recruitment, performance review, capability development, and termination as required, in partnership with Channel/Account teams.

Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) and quarterly business reviews with key regional customers.

Strengthen relationships with regional modern trade partners and top wholesalers to boost sell‑in/sell‑out performance.

Execute regional promotional campaigns within assigned budgets and validate ROI.

Ensure all promotions and visibility programs align with Waters brand guidelines.

Manage regional TTS/visibility budgets effectively and ensure proper spending tracking.

Ensure prompt customer payments and reduce risks of bad debts through strong credit governance.

Coach, mentor, and develop regional sales team to uplift Waters’ sales capability and excellence.

Lead performance management, succession planning, and capability building.

Build a high‑performance culture rooted in discipline, accountability, and customer focus.

ARE YOU A FIT?

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; with at least 2 years experience in Regional Sales Manager position or 4 yrs of experience in Area Sales Manager position.

Understand all sales functions i.e. Trade Marketing, Customer, Field Sales

Strong experience in Team and Field Sales Management, Distributor Management Best Practice, Market Intelligence and Channel/Shopper Trends

Good knowledge of channel structure and opportunities in the region
