Responsible for general cleaning of the department assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one-year related housekeeping experience

SEIU 1199 at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and MS Downtown, AJK - MMTP Clinic 8 - BI, Mount Sinai Beth Israel

• Handles infectious waste/spills: cleans quickly and in accordance with OSHA safety guidelines.
• Responsible for general cleaning: all bathroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, garbage removal tasks completed daily; all surface wiping, UV lights cleaning and other special projects to be completed as needed
• Stores and replenishes supplies: appropriate weekly inventory reporting, quick and efficient unloading of deliveries, quick and efficient storing of supplies
