Department Overview

At Motorola Solutions, we create technologies our customers refer to as their lifeline. Dimetra is providing a mission critical TETRA-based communication system. Dimetra Network Management team is responsible for system performance monitoring, reporting performance and faults as well as provisioning. Our products are based on various technologies and are entirely developed and tested in our R&D center in Krakow.

Job Description:

At Motorola Solutions, we create technologies our customers refer to as their lifeline. Our Dimetra team provides mission-critical TETRA-based communication systems used by emergency services worldwide. The Dimetra Network Management team in Krakow is responsible for the configuration and monitoring solutions that keep these systems running.

We are seeking an aspiring Java Developer Intern to join one of our Scrum teams. You will be integrated into the full software development lifecycle. You’ll collaborate daily with experienced professionals on planning, developing, testing, and maintaining features that serve real-world customers. If you are open-minded, eager to learn and looking for a place to grow your technical wings, we want to meet you.

Basic Requirements:

• Solid understanding of Java (ideally Java 21) and object-oriented programming.

• Familiarity with Python, BASH or other scripting languages.

• English skills at a level that allows for efficient collaboration in an international environment.

• A strong "willingness to learn" and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• **Availability 32 hours per week (minimum).**We can start a job between 7-10 a.m. We do not work on weekends!

• 15 months Contract (Contract of Employment only)

• Availability to work in our office in Kraków (Czerwone Maki 82)-2 days a week.

Following skills will be a plus:

• Basic Linux system navigation

• Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).

• Experience with version control tools like GIT or task management in JIRA.

• General understanding of network protocols.
