Department Overview

Motorola Solutions is a global leader in public safety and enterprise security. We provide mission-critical communication and data solutions that help our customers make the world safer and more productive.

Job Description:

Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization’s products and systems. Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation.

PRIMARY SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Telecom Domain with hands on experience of developing mobile applications.
• Should have experience in development with C, C++, multithreading, data structures on VoIP solution ( SIP, RTP, RTCP, TCP/UDP, H264 protocol, codecs for Video and Audio solution).
• Leaks and crash Analysis, Thread management, Categories, Notifications, Design patterns in ios, Client-Server interaction

SECONDARY SKILLS:

• Knowledge in telecom protocols like VOIP, SIP
• Strong in system/networking concepts: Sockets, Multi-threading, thread priorities, mutex etc.
• Working knowledge of mobile application development environments like Android, iOS.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Good Oral and Written Communication Skills are required.
• Should be a self-motivated person who can thrive in challenging environment and gel well with the team.
• Should be willing to grasp/share knowledge with the team

Basic Requirements:

• Hands on 4-6 years of experience in development using C, C++ multithreading, data structures on VoIP solution ( SIP, RTP, RTCP, TCP/UDP, H264 protocol, codecs for Video and Audio solution).
• Full understanding of compile/build tools in both Linux or Windows environments.
